The US Professional Baseball Major League Secretariat has launched an investigation into domestic violence allegations against pitcher Mike Clevinger (33, Chicago White Sox).
Reuters and others reported on the morning of the 25th (Korean time) that Clevinger is being charged with domestic violence and child abuse. Clevinger’s wife, Olivia Feinsted, had assaulted herself long ago and claimed she was abusive to her, including throwing cigarettes at her now 10-month-old child as well. “(Clevinger) you must go to hell,” Feinstead wrote on her social media account.
Clevinger went 51-30 with a 3.39 ERA and 694 strikeouts in 128 games over six seasons. The White Sox signed Clevinger to a one-year, $8 million contract in December of last year. The White Sox club issued a statement saying, “The club and MLB take all of the allegations seriously. He was unaware of the allegations at the time he signed with Clevinger. He said he would wait for the results of the major league investigation to come out.”토토사이트
